Lahti Industrial Society strives to influence the things it sees as important in terms of business life, which are not only related to the needs of companies, but equally to the needs of the companies’ staff. The needs of company personnel are similar to those of all citizens, such as living comfort, housing supply, education supply, cultural and hobby opportunities, and other services important to residents.

Important things for companies are e.g. roads, availability of energy, heat and water as well as price, zoning, construction and connection costs, labor costs, taxation and an open and easy dialogue with the public sector whenever necessary.
